Get to Know Our Leadership Team
Having learned property management from the ground up, Jen brings a strong background in finance, residential leasing operations and property development. Jen comes with over 20 years of experience in multiple aspects of housing and asset management. Before returning to Oakbrook, Mrs. Ade served as Vice President of Property Management for Wimmer Communities where she was accountable for the performance of 3,500 apartments in the Milwaukee market.
Jen previously served Oakbrook Corporation as Regional Manager, with a portfolio exceeding 40 properties consisting of more than 3,200 residential units located in Illinois and Wisconsin. These properties include market rate, HUD Section 8 and HOME, USDA Rural Development and Low Income Housing Tax Credit financed developments. Jen also holds a degree in accounting/finance and is a licensed real estate broker.
With over 20 years of experience, Matt rejoined Oakbrook in 2018 after a hiatus at Flad Development and Investment Corp. to lead investment sales brokerage. In his career, Matt has brokered the sale of office, retail, land and multifamily investment properties valued at over $350M. He has represented the interests of notable clients including the University of Wisconsin Foundation, Irwin A. and Robert D. Goodman Foundation, Inc., and Flad Development & Investment Corp. His many professional distinctions include being named a CoStar Power Broker for 2012 & 2013 along with having the Investment Deal of the Year for Madison Commercial Brokers in 2019 and 2011.
A Madison native, Matt is on the Board of Trustees for Edgewood Highschool, the Board of Directors for the University of Wisconsin Alumni Association (2013-2018) annd earned his B.BA in Accounting and Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Being a 6th generation resident, Chris is truly a son of Madison. He is a graduate of Edgewood High School and attended the University of Wisconsin. At the UW, Chris earned a business degree in the highly esteemed Grasskamp real estate program and played collegiately for the UW Golf Team (“back when I was good,” he says).
Chris has over 20 years of brokerage experience and has represented clients in the successful completion of over 450 sale, lease and consulting transactions since 2005. He specializes in office and industrial properties and oversees Oakbrook’s commercial brokerage team.
A believer in ‘win-win’ outcomes while successfully advocating for his clients, Chris has earned “Deal of the Year” recognition by Commercial Brokers Group of Madison an astounding 7 times. Similarly, Chris has been a Co-Star “Power Broker” every year since 2011.
Chris is one of only 12 commercial brokers in the state of Wisconsin to hold both the SIOR and CCIM designations and one of just two SIOR’s in the state to have earned the “Dual Specialist” (office specialist and industrial specialist) distinction.
In addition to representing several local family offices in their investment and leasing activities, Chris’ recent corporate clients include Aramark, CenturyLink, Cummins, Dane County Humane Society, Epic Games, Globe University, Interstate Partners, Mallinckrodt, Thermo Fisher Scientific, United Vaccines, and Wisconsin Medical Society.

Pete brings over 20 years of experience in multi-housing and commercial asset management, construction, development, and acquisitions. In his current role Pete provides construction oversight of Oakbrook’s multi-housing and commercial developments in excess of $20 million, commercial tenant improvements, and capital expenditure projects. A veteran of The US Air Force, Pete works directly with Oakbrook and real asset owners to properly position the asset for immediate and future growth. Mr. Devore’s vast knowledge and attention to detail is an asset to Oakbrook and their clients.

Jennifer has nearly 10 years of experience in the affordable housing industry. She holds HCCP, NCCP, COS and HCM-RD designations and manages a talented team that work diligently to oversee a diverse portfolio of properties in multiple states with the main goal of ensuring clients’ assets are in compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations.
The Compliance Department’s affordable portfolio includes Section 42, Section 8, and Section 515 properties with additional layering of HOME, Bonds, project based voucher funding, and 811 PRA DEMO.
Jennifer is a Housing Credit Certified Professional, Novogradac Property, Compliance Certification
Certified Occupancy Specialist, and a member of the National Association of Home Builders.
A native of northern Wisconsin, Jeff brings diverse background to his position at Oakbrook. With an AS in Electrical/Mechanical systems Technology from the Air Force. His former positions include serving as an Electrical Mechanical Project Manager for Halliburton, Brown, and Root, Centennial Contactors as a Project Manger/Estimator on the Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority IDIQ project and In 2008, Mr. Knuth earned his Cost Engineering credentials and traveled for the Army Corps Of Engineers , planning and programming the infrastructure required to support “The Surge” troop build up. By 2011, he was responsible managing construction projects for the State of Georgia and South Carolina. In 2014, during a planned relocation , Jeff joined Oakbrook as a Senior Facilities Property Manager. He is currently managing 11 commercial properties.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, Brian is responsible for a portfolio that consists of several commercial properties mostly located in the Madison area.
Brian’s previous experience as a Commercial Property Facilities Supervisor and as a Condo Facilities Manager has made his transition to Senior Commercial Property Manager a smooth one. He always has the best interest of clients, property owners, tenants and vendors top of mind. His highest priorities are keeping a solid budget, negotiating for the best and most cost effective vendors, and working with his clients to ensure they are satisfied. Mr. Lien ensures that all aspects of each facility is working properly and effectively.
With over a decade of experience in Multifamily Residential, Rebecca is familiar with all aspects of property management operations. Having started out as a leasing agent and steadily earning promotions through all of the ranks, Property Manager, Area Manager, Regional Manager, and finally Director. Similarly, her experience includes market, affordable, HUD and RD properties. Rebecca’s vast experience makes her an invaluable resource for her team and her clients.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Rebecca studied Journalism/Advertising and is also a licensed Realtor.
Brad has over thirty years of experience in maintenance, management, and construction of real property assets, including oversight of a staff of 12 people. His knowledge of commercial and residential HVAC systems and their successful integration with remodeling projects has been invaluable to owners and tenants alike. Brad is a member of International Facilities Management Association.
A proud alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Stout with an emphasis in Property Management and Real Estate Development, Bryant specializes in the areas of office and industrial properties. He represents building owners who are seeking buyers or tenants for their office or industrial buildings, as well as tenants who are seeking office or industrial space for their use. Past clients have noted his knowledge of comparable, demographics, governmental requirements, potential tenant/users, ease of access for shipping/receiving, and building/site design as unsurpassed.
Bryant’s recent clients include Aramark, Data Dimensions, Group Health Cooperative, ANU Family Services, Ledger Coffee Roasters, Agrace Hospice Care, and KL Engineering among many others.
Bryant is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Wisconsin, a member of the Madison Commercial Brokers Group, CCIM Wisconsin Chapter Member, and a member of the local IREM chapter with ARM designation.
Michael provides leadership and oversight of the Residential Division, which includes all residential property management, development, acquisition, asset management and disposition activities on behalf of Oakbrook’s principals, clients and stakeholders. Michael works directly with Oakbrook’s lending and investor partners as well as the operations and accounting divisions to maximize the value and returns of this portfolio. Michael has experience with a variety of housing types and finance programs, having led or participated in the development, financing, repositioning, and sale of over $200 million of multifamily housing over the course of his career. Prior to joining Oakbrook, Michael worked at General Growth Properties where he focused on the redevelopment of regional malls and unique retail properties within GGP’s existing portfolio.
Michael completed his graduate studies at University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning an M.S., Real Estate and Urban Land Economics while his undergraduate work was at University of Michigan with a bachelors’ in Economics.
Michael’s professional affiliations include being a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association, National Multi-Housing Council, and the National Apartment Association. Michael also serves on the board for Catholic Charities of Madison.
As President of Oakbrook Corporation Mike is responsible for overall corporate management and directs the brokerage, property management, consulting, development, construction and financial operations.
Prior to forming the Oakbrook Corporation in 1987, Mike served as Executive Vice President and Secretary of Madsen Corporation, a Midwestern commercial development and construction business. He was also President of its two operating subsidiaries, Madsen Investment Services, Inc., a licensed securities broker/dealer, and Madsen Mortgage Company, Inc., a mortgage-banking firm. During his 13 years at Madsen, Mr. Morey was responsible for development, financing and financial planning for $400 million in properties developed and/or owned by Madsen. He also supervised the activities of Madsen’s developers, real estate agents, securities agents, property managers, and finance directors.
During his career, Mr. Morey has been active as a speaker at seminars on various aspects of real estate. He is currently a member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association and a licensed real estate broker in Wisconsin and Illinois. Mr. Morey is a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Edgewood Campus Grade School and the Edgewood College Board of Trustees. He is also a past member of the Board of Directors of Downtown Madison, Inc., the Business and Advisory Board of Attic Angels, and previously on the Gubernatorial appointed Multifamily Dwelling Code Council. Mike is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a B.S. in Engineering and an MBA in Finance.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay, our Director of Operations manages all aspects of our Residential Division. Allie is heavily involved in employee engagement, from hiring, training and leadership development to our annual employee conference. She oversees the design and implementation of new initiatives as well as internal communication. Prior to joining Oakbrook, Allie spent ten years with AT&T, where she held various roles. Most recently, she served as Associate Director of Training, specializing in development and delivery of Retail and Leadership courses. Her knowledge of learning theory, curriculum design and engaging delivery make her an asset to the team.
With nearly 20 years of accounting related experience, Derra came to Oakbrook in 2019 to serve as Corporate Controller and was promoted in 2020 to Chief Accounting & Operations Officer.
Derra spent 6 years at North Central Group, an owner and developer of hospitality, where her duties included but were not limited to managing A/P, overseeing recapitalization opportunities, and managing all accounting activity related to the owning entity’s investment activity.
Derra earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Lakeland College in Accounting and Business Administration and Finance, respectively.
Katie specializes in the areas of office, industrial and vacant land properties and negotiates sales and leases for clients occupying office, industrial and retail space. She represents building owners who are seeking buyers or tenants for their office, retail, or industrial buildings, as well as tenants who are seeking office, retail and/or industrial space for their use.
